I never really got the catche of these it just seems from a ride and quality stand point there are a tone of as nice or nicer 80's and 90's MTB's out there for less money. A lot of which seem to have a bit more cool factor the nicer US made by the brand and not contracted stuff out seems to be doing better right now. I have gotten a bit blaw on 80's and 90's MTB's after coming across so much nicer stuff were I live in Colorado at dirt low prices or even free and seeing dozens of nice MTB's bike left outside neglected unlocked that very few hold my interest.
