i spotted a simple truing stand on Temu for $22... it has both radial and side truing indicator screws, and is not unlike my Spin doctor stand, just not as fancy.

one feature mentioned by someone else.. the heavy and expensive Park stand is silent.. my spin doctor's acorn nuts, or the radial plate, make a nice little chatter tone when they touch the wheel.... no need to endlessly find proper backlighting to see a tiny gap that can be under 10 thousandths of an inch, then trying to watch that tiny gap vanish...
