They don't try to bend the derailier bracket. They replace them. Fellow I talked to once worked at one of theTrek factories in WI.
The only way to tell if the derailleur hanger is too badly bent to salvage is to use an alignment tool to see how bad it is. As I previously mentioned, even brand new hangers can require the use of the alignment tool toi achieve good alignment. My take, from the pictures provided is that the derailleur may be bent worse than the hanger, requiring replacement. If the hanger turns out to be only slightly out of alignment, it could be saved. If the derailleur is badly bent, it will have to be replaced.
