Maybe you just need to get your priorities in the proper order. If you have time to clean your bike, then that is time you weren't riding your bike.

No one you pass on your ride will notice the things you see on it. <grin>

If all you ever did was clean the cassette and seat stays, then any following on your wheel will think your bike is spotless.
