Shimano created a mechanical mismatch with their previous products, and a hassle issue that drove folks to other brands, hurt their reputation immensely, whether earned or not, and somehow that made you think i'm angry, and they wanted to anger folks, or make a higher profit by angering folks.... you also explain why they did what they did, and ignore that i'm happy with the Tiagra 4700 shifting.. once the FD issue was rectified.

Well, yoiu got me on missing GRX. The thread was about mixing 4700 with older 10-speed stuff, not GRX, and I saw no point in bringing it up. As for the rest of it, I was detecting some sour grapes in your 12-05 post, and I just felt like Shimano and 4700 needed a little defending. If dissing 4700 wasn't your point, then I apologize.
