yes but unless you plan on using both the mid-drive and hub drive you won't get extra. most hug drive don't have the same amount of torque as a mid driver. the only way it may work better is if you can put a cassette on the back then maybe you would have more usable range but I doubt it's possible. the problem really is the internal hub you just don't get the range of gears unless you have a roloff
