Swapping the 46T front sprocket for a 39T will be done shortly — not sure she'll agree spending more money to also get a 42T and the 113T belt that goes with it just to experiment. It can only help, but if it's still not enough… and since the frame doesn't look like it could take a BBS02/BBSHD… it could be the end of it with that bike.

I wasn't talking about experimenting I was talking about getting that combination as it would likely fit better. The combination you had is super low and may not fit from what you had told us.

Again putting a worse motor on the bike is not going to help things. Keep in mind peak power and nominal power are two very different things and the kit motors give you peak power because that is the only thing that will impress as the nominal power is low compared to a quality system.
