this may be true, i can think of several homeware stuff sold on amazon that fit this statement.
having said the iphone somewhat used to fit this idea and yet, it has become a “standard”.
regarding large flared bars, I can see both side of the argument. The thing I d like to know is: are they fitted properly? I mean, are they fitted with the correct stem?
i recall a bar manufacturer who advised (as a rule of thumb) to decrease the stem length by 10mm for every 20mm increment on the bar.
(example 400mm bar with 100mm stem <=> 420mm bar with 90mm stem).
i know it might require extra spacers to keep similar stack.
Big pulleys seems a gimmick to me with loads of big marketing claims ( a bit like KN filter will give an extra 20 BHP to the engine 😅
