Big pulleys have a benefit, but definitely fall into the "marginal gains" category. However, $500 for OSPWs with ceramic bearings is hard to justify from a $/W standpoint. That said, I have little hesitation in spending $50-80 for blingy anodized pulleys with standard bearings.
