It's funny you should mention that. I just had to ask my grandson how long the LBS would allow for a test ride (answer was 30 minutes). The FX3 is a disappointment compared to what I felt like 30 years ago on an 80's era Peugot. It's probably great for a hybrid, it's better now that I changed it from 1x10 to 2x10, but I still feel like I'm like a child on a booster seat. The hand and shoulder injury which kept me from golfing and returned me to relaxed cycling has pretty much healed, and now I want to play golf AND cycle. The performance road bikes sound nice (CAAD, Emonda), but at 63, the endurance geometry is probably better for the long haul) Allez, Domane or Synapse).

I want to try all 5, but just reading about them, an leaning toward Synapse.
