Thanks SurferRosa. That didn't quite help, but did give me some other things to try. Here's the top right hand bit of the C&V "home" page:



If I just poke the magnifying class, I get the .../search.php error (Internal Server Error). If, however, I enter a search term then poke the magnifying glass, the (simple) search is performed. Okay, back up and try opening the advanced search page:


Unfortunately, actually tapping "Advanced" also yields the error. It seems to me that maybe the server's code (which I can't see) is looking for some value (perhaps hidden) and not finding it on line 2099 of search.php.

I think I've given you all the input I can't without some further direction from someone at IB's end who can actually look at the PHP code.
