mad snotrocket skillz.
i rode to the worksite today, taking the long route and my stopwatch, and then turned around almost at once and came home. a bit much for my sedentary system on top of half-the-ride-plus-home on the spur of the moment last night, plus two hours with a sniffly bank employee on thursday who called me this morning with a full-blown cold. so a mile from home i'm in the local health food store buying yogurt and spelt bread and such to go with my new healthy life, and i get the bodacious sneezes. sneezed my way out of the store and back onto my bike, and sneezed my way back to the house. half of the rest of the ride home was made weak and feeble by sneezing, and then once the phrase popped into my head, the other half was ruined by the giggle attack.
feeling pretty good now

a thought came to me somewhere out there. one reason why i do love biking so much is it always makes me feel like i'm on a road trip. we don't do road trips any more since we got the cat. and i don't know why it is, but biking always makes me look at the sky. it's a total, instant vacation feeling for me, going back to the start of my life. worth the price of admission all in its own right.
