Bikes: Kirk Custom JK Special, 86 De Rosa Pro, '84 Team Miyata,(dura ace old school) 80?? SR Semi-Pro 600 Arabesque

Tweaking the Miyata team

I acquired the 84 miyata team from a neighbor

It has been a fun bike to do different versions of, which of course it a bit easier with friction shifting, if if does result in a mild franken bike

Latest changes were:
Swap out MA40 rims with GP4 rims (courtesy Mad Honk ) both to get to original spec and to run tubies (28 mm corsa control...to bad they don't make these any more they are nice)

Put on r8000 ultegra dual pivots.
I was fiddling with current brakes (super nice dura ace from rccardr also the crankset same source) and contemplating putting on some dual pivots from the recent @sloar sales and saw the R8000 on my parts self and thought whey not?

They brake so nice and match the black deore derailler (it was a parking lot change in the rain for Cino 2021 to match a 32 rear cog and 105 triple is was running for Cino... again different builds)

funny thing is with one more addition to my stash, a 7110 Durace crank I can get the bike back to original spec (in process thought i had one but some shipping confusion...we will see)

any way fun to have a base pallette so to speak for different builds, what are yours?
