I for one look forward to your review of the GravelKing 700x40 slicks. How much you paid, what rims you mounted them on, what type of rim tape you are using, what type of pump you are using - all of it would be helpful to know for your review. Just curious : if your bike is being converted from 27" to 700c, are your brake calipers adjustable to have the range where your brake pads will be spot on with the rim sidewalls or are you running a disc frame?
The caliper brakes I have have been tested with the rims. They are Shimano Deerheads-BRMC70. Shoes are highly adjustable and alignment is a-okay!
