Some folks I know of on another forum, relocated from lower MI with a 90 minute commute to north Detroit burbs, but they had land and horses, to AZ (outside of Phoenix I think) for a really good job for her, brought the horses, rented house backed up to a canyon, and I thought, perhaps wait to sell off in MI to make sure they like it there, but they said they loved it in AZ. I'd been off that forum for quite a while, visit a year or two later, read a few posts which had me confused, finally grokked they're back in MI, western lower. I heard they missed the area, but it was also after record heat in AZ, but then I later read about tumble of the company the person went to work for. Don't ask. Probably a combination of all of the above. They don't bike that I know of.
