So I figured something with the lower center of gravity is better. But not recumbent like barely off the ground. I don't know that an E bike on wheels with a basket or a cargo thing with a dog shifting aroundis where I want her to start right now. I think the three wheel is the way to go. And again we're talking about maybe 10 miles round-trip here. She is able to pedal still, but I need something with some assist function
Like someone said above we may look to do a conversion. Just get a Schwinn or something that is readily available secondhand on various e-commerce sites and get it converted. I'm not gonna try to do that but biking as big around here so there's plenty of people that work on their own bikes or there's several bike shops. Thanks again
It sounds like the XP Trike would be perfect. Big basket behind the saddle, and I think provisions for a front basket, mounted right to the frame.
One other cool thing about the XP Trike, compared to other eTrikes, is that it is rear wheel drive instead of front. That took some extra engineering; I think it has a differential in the rear, but it won't tend to burn out the front wheel like all the front wheel drive eTrikes.
The only thing to consider is technique: trikes with the dual wheels in the rear tend to flip if cornered hard without leaning the opposite way. That's why Honda ATCs were outlawed by the US government in the 80s.
