There were no recalls for the Brompton not electric. There were recalls for the Brompton Electric.

There were some issues with the mounting of the stem on the titanium fork of the Brompton Superlight that could make the fork tube crack but its not a real design default, crack happens only when the stem mounting is tightened too much what could easily happen if the tightening wasn't done with to torque wrench. Brompton modified the mounting of the stem using a classic quill mounting.

About the hinge, you can easily see the difference of the hinge of the T-line and G-line on the pictures below:



The fix of the G-line seems to be a reinforced spindle.
