The battery itself is similar to the SRAM batt. but fixed in place with a couple of screws vs a latch. Im betting you could buy a spare and replace it yourself.
There's a vid on YoooTooob that does precisely that. The battery removal is actually a few screws and easy. Evidently WheelTop sells spare batteries, but don't quote me as I'm only a conduit of idle gossip!
PS 130+ miles on the system so far, and just installed a new wheel build today, so am retuning the cassette (a few gears need tweaking). All good so far!
