While thinking about the Kickr Bike, has anyone else had the dreaded electronic shifter freezing issue? I first had this issue early on and it was fully resolved with a replacement bar set. But now after another 2 years it has suddenly started happening again. The shifters will randomly freeze and then start working again after a quick power cycle. It randomly affects both shifters or just one side. Cleaning the contacts doesn’t help, but it’s not obviously a contact issue as why would it start working again after a power cycle and why would it randomly affect 1 or both shifters? It also doesn’t matter which 2 of the 3 connection ports I use. The other odd thing is that I can leave it powered up for days and the shifters will still work, but then freeze within the first few minutes of the next workout. It’s like they only freeze when the switches are being activated.

I’m going to raise it with Wahoo support again, but was wondering if there was a known fix? The problem is widely reported online, but never seen a quick fix other than replacement hardware.
