Ask a simple question about a jersey and get a wacked out answer out from left field...
jeeze
Anyhow, I am only 10lbs overweight. Just curious since I have never owned a cycling jersey before. Guess I will head to REI tomorrow and try something on.
Dear DataJunkie,
Geeze, I din't mean to give you a whacked out answer, but so many guys think that their manly-ness is being called into question if they wear sking tight cycling clothing. . .
Obviously you do care about what other people think, because you will only wear tight cycling clothes below the torso, No?

--(more comfortable on bike, less/no chafing. . . ) You must be somewhat touchy about the way you look in a tight shirt/jersey?
I think I get what you are asking about
: Go to REI and try on some of their jerseys. Try some of the ones not so brightly colored, that are made for "mountain biking". My husband has one of these in a maroon color, long sleeved, that he wears all the time. The fit should be more loose and not so skin tight. Go to sporting goods stores and try stuff like Underarmor t-shirts and wicking polyester running shirts. Try places like Target and Wallmart for the wicking "sport" stuff too.
This past Christmas my husband got me a wicking t-shirt from Target. Bright orange, nicely made, wicks great. A whole 20 bucks! Covers my stomach easily, not too flappy and looks nice--and I know my stomach is bigger than yours if you are "only 10 lbs overweight!"
