I am a big China Cycling guy and love how Chinese direct to consumer goods have really been pushing the market and I hope there is a third player besides Shimano and SRAM, sorry not counting Campy, BUT for an upgrade/build kit I am not sure any of these new electronic Chinese groupsets are worth the hassle at their price points. Whether you are paying $520 or the $879 MSRP, you still don't get rotors, cassette, crankset, and chain thus IMO unless you have these exact parts or can find them insanely cheap you are quickly approaching Shimano 105 Di2 and Rival AXS D1 or quite frankly Force D1/D2 levels of price.

I can't comment on the actual performance since I never used it but the fact that you admit it's not Shimano let alone SRAM good and multiple reviewers have already stated the lag or inconsistent shifts would be a deal breaker for most. Then factor in the idea that even if you can tune the groupset perfectly and to your liking, if something where to go wrong dealing with Wheeltop isn't probably top notch and none of these parts are stocked at any LBS let alone on Amazon where you can buy a replacement in 1-2 days.

Where I see these groupsets really being great is pushing lower cost entry level performance complete bikes. Think you probably will see these on Sava, Polygon, or maybe some companies like Yoeleo or even Winspace if they ever offer complete bikes. Where it really would be a game changer is if Pon Holding or Specialized just bought WheelTop and used it on their entry level Tarmac or whatever bike
