It's a lot easier & sane to start high, ride a bit and then bleed off some air and repeat until you find what you like than starting low and adding a bit and repeating.
Also less likely to mess up a rim or get snake bites than the other way.

It's kind of like sizing a chain Big:Big. You know you're safe.
