Campagnolo did arrange for a custom length Campagnolo chain a couple years ago but at the time, Campagnolo were not offering a C-Link and could not recommend any quick link for use with the Campagnolo chain, which was part of their requirement, so they went with the Wippermann chain and quick-link.
Thanks for checking! So thinking a Record pinned chain at 114 links + 4 links of a C-link chain to get to 118? Or should a err on starting with 120 links? Or, maybe to save on $ I should try the Wippermann route as a starting point to see how this works and then switch to Campy?
Could I ask, if I went back to Campy 11 speed do you think I would be in this same situation? It seems like I didn't have this issue before (with 9,10 or 11). Is 12 speed not really designed for bikes with longer chainstays? Adding, my bike isn't that weird,,or is it? 🤣
