I've often left the suitcase for my Bike Friday at a hotel, but I don't stay at an airport hotel, and I stay at least one night at the beginning, and usually at least a couple of nights at the end. I always email a hotel or guesthouse in advance with my request. I did this once in Spain in Bilbao. You should contact the hotel directly and ask them. A box might be a bigger problem (literally) than a suitcase, however.
