As a non-bike example, we bought our kids secondhand Nintendo Switch Lites this year, from Game Stop. One of them came with an unbranded power cable that is rated 3A, not 5A, although the transformer housing is the same size as the OE Nintendo cable. It does charge. It's not powerful enough to play plugged in and charge at the same time when the console battery is dead. Who added the fraudulent cable? Game Stop or the prior owner? Who knows? We know from past experience that the full size Switch in a dock will only play to the TV with the OE Nintendo cable. At least that's not a problem with the Lites.

"Well, well!" said Holmes, impatiently. "A good cyclist does not need a high road. The moor is intersected with paths and the moon is at the full."
