If the company cannot identify their own products being returned then that is a problem. It is one thing if Amazon takes a return for fakes they sell fakes, and they simply don't care. But Silca or Paul that would be completely unacceptable luckily I doubt Paul and Josh are employing complete numbskulls who cannot identify real and fake and couldn't easily put stuff in place to figure things out.
This is what's important. Manufacturers selling direct shouldn't have to rely on (exclusively) visual detection for potential return fraud.
