Would have been real simple to keep me as a first time customer. I mean, if you advertise up to 2 weeks, and you have orders that havent shipped a month later, you’d think you would email your customers. Hey, we’re having a delay for whatever reason, sorry. Nope. Nothing. I canceled my order on principle despite still wanting the wheels. Smaller company, better customer service is largely why I ordered from them, and when it became apparent that was not the case, I went elsewhere.
When I emailed them to cancel, I politely mentioned it was the delay and more the lack of communication as the reason. This was their last opportunity to say hey, our bad, we dropped the ball, how about we give you a ten percent off coupon for a future order or something to let the order ride? Again, no. Just an email saying your order has been canceled, then days until I was actually refunded.
An old boss of mine once said make it easy for the customer to give you their money. I’m sure they can afford to lose this and future orders from me, but I won’t feel bad about buying something from Taiwan or China next time.
Can you tell I was really looking forward to those wheels? Lol
