I was truly saddened to hear this news. Steve is definitely a quirky guy, but has always been very honest and kind. I purchased my first road bike (a Bianchi Via Nirone) from him when he was at his old location and sold a lot of Bianchi's. His prices were always fair, and he would never think of uncharging or recommending something you didn't need. He always had a random part I needed, and had some cool old Bianchi swag. Seeing the emotional interview makes me sad. The entire neighborhood is decimated. I hope he can find peace and a new purpose. I still can't believe Open Road is gone...
