Second alarm bell is that the seller is not a known reputable bike retailer and has no other bike parts for sale X
Third alarm is that the seller says the item is unpackaged. X
Oops.
This thread reminds me of Jobst Brandt and
The Bicycle Wheel - Nobody had ever sat down and written a book about the topic, so when he did it, immediately all sorts crawled out of the woodwork to critique what he'd done.
Now we see the same thing here, with many of the same style complaints. Nobody has ever created a thread cataloging counterfeit products in this manner, and all sorts of posters are stepping over each other saying how it isn't a problem. Denying reality, alternative facts, lots of nonsense to argue against what is clearly happening.
Anyway, nice to be in good company I suppose. Jobst Brandt and I, could be a biopic.
