I have a 979 that creaks a lot on load and when I step on a pedal to flex it sideways. I'm wondering it the bottom bracket is coming unglued. I mostly use it as a townie but got caught using it for an uphill real ride yesterday and in addition to the worry, it drove me a bit crazy.
