My useless conjecture - Search went looking for anything "advanced" in C&V and came up completely empty handed. Just steel, leather and friction shifters. Toeclip pedals. Caliper brakes. Try the search in Road Cycling. Carbon fiber. Disc brakes. Much closer to cutting edge stuff. (Ben goes off and hides under his manure-proof umbrella.)
