I would go with deep cleaning, touch up let dry for a day or two then two coats of good wax each nicely polished buffed by hand with a day to set between each coat. It will a week or so and some work but giving it a bit of extra time will make for a better looking and lasting finish and alloy you to keep the original look of the bike.
