Not at all. When using wax in hydraulic brakes, you use a heated master cylinder/reservoir. The heat keeps the wax in liquid form and also removes any water contamination via steam. THei actually extends the life of the wax, eliminating the need for frequent bleeding. The steam can be used to actuate an add-on steam whistle to alert people you are passing.
