-Were there publications or brochures from the manufacturer with data and details about the frames for the presentation and market launch of the two models?

- in which years were these two frames produced by Kawamura?

- Was the frames produced only when quantities were ordered by the specialist dealer(s)?

- Were both frames only offered in the USA or also in Europe?

I know, maybe too many questions. Nevertheless, thanks for answers.

The OPN framesest is a differnt product from the Nishiki Professional model.

The OPN frameset is from 1976 - 1977.

Here is a link to Joe Bunik and information on Order Nishik Professional bicycles.

Joe Bunik - OPN

This link includes a Bicycling magazine article from 1976 August.

Also there were/are OPN frames found in Asia with a different serial number format from the USA market.

The Nishiki Professional model name is more complicated. That model name was used in more than one international market.

I believe that the first Professional model in the USA was from 1971 - 1972. The frames were manufactured by Katakura Silk.

There were some Nishiki Professional models sold in different European countries in about 1980.
