Hello.
I was changing the cable to a dropper post and caused some damage. The end of the cable that inserts into the release mechanism of the post itself has a removeable barrel stopper that tightens onto the cable. I ended up stripping the threads of the barrel stopper. The cable end on the remote uses a standard gear shifter cable as a stopper. I've tried to find a substitute barrel stopper with no success.
My plan is to use a brake cable with a barrel stopper on the post end and change the remote to one that has a clamp type for the open ended cable.
Can anyone direct me to a dropper post remote that uses clamp style for the cable?
