I don't know about the transworld city tires, but the pressure rating seems way high for a tire that wide.
I've tried the forte city tires at performance because they were cheap (I paid $15 for both) and they were going on my held together by duct tape mountain bike. I put close to 500 miles on those tires. The only downside to them was that the max psi was 60 and they didn't have very good traction on wet roads.
When I got my rockhopper I got the specialized nimbus 1.5" tires. Max psi is 80 and they run for about $20. So far I like them. The tires that came on the rockhopper where 2.0" knobbies and the 1.5" tires fit fine, though they were a real pain to get on (as was taking the stock tires off). You should be able to fit 1.5" tires on yours.
