Fantastic! That did the trick, thanks very much. What should the recommended 5-6kg (11-13.2) lbs of force feel like when closing the latch? I think I've got it, but any Dahon veteran tips would be very welcome.

By the way, as you may notice from the picture, I don't have a stopper hook for my handlepost latch (it snapped off a long time ago). Is this something I should be concerned about?
