velobase.net seems to be a test site, with no updates since a while, ie there are new entries on velobase.com that are not on velobase.net.

for what it's worth, I have recently added content to velobase.com. the security risk is an expired certificate, which can be bypassed in some browsers but not others. This may mean that the connection between user and server is no longer encrypted. so, make sure you use a unique password there (don't reuse your bank password eg, but don't do that anyways), and don't upload confidential pictures of vintage bike parts
