My gr300 has 45c tera speed in the rear and can easily fit my pathfinder 47. I would think 50s would fit but would be an issue for mud.
You should be able to keep it light, mine is 10.16kg ready to ride with full water bottle and tools. 8.5kg without pedals and gear with a Ti front fork. So all metal frame set was still really light. I could get it to 7.9 if I really wanted
