regardless of a thread's age, there are hundreds of readers that find threads here via web searches, and any added info can be greatly appreciated.
all bikes mentioned are current and/or popular models.
it's the specific questions to posed to 7 to 10+ year old threads that make me chuckle.
that trek dual sport gravel bike is a bargain, and certainly not a walmart mistake bike.
personally, i tend to search this forum via a different search engine... the search bar here is too specific, and most internal BF searches fail to bring up any threads.. the external search brings up a selection of relevant info.
i use "subject" + "bike forums" on my default search engine.
