squirtdad, exactly, one click per gear. Saw this video , guy was comparing down tube shifters vs down tube indexed. Thought the'de be interesting to try. Reason being, for me anyway, sort of hit and miss. sometimes I do a nice seamless quit shift more often than not but just not consistently I find myself having to fiddle a bit. to make it smooth and quit. Hence, would like to try out indexing.
