The TAs that came on my Canyon have built in levers that allow you to place the lever at any angle you wish once tightened. I don't get leverless TAs, because that's one more thing to lose. Plus, 100 years ago, you used to have to carry a wrench.
Then somebody invented wingnuts so you didn't have to carry a wrench.
Then Tullio Campagnolo invented the QR because working the winguts with frozen hands was impossible.
Then somebody invented the thru-axle because sometimes QRs slip sometimes and disc brakes make wheel alignment critical.
Then somebody invented the leverless TA, so you have to carry a wrench.
There's progress for you.
So, is there anyone who doesn't carry a multi tool with them when they ride? If so, the TA tool is always available. If not, well, that's just dumb.
