Your desire to stick your foot in the shoe of someone else is not something I'd do. I'd just get new. However I guess I did stick my feet in bowling shoes that had way more different feet in them than the used pair you are looking at. <grin>
You’re right about used shoes. New isn’t very expensive.

I found a pair of new old stock SPD 540 pedals for $50.00. How big of a step up would they be over my 515s?
