I've used floor pumps, an Air Shot cannister, a cordless inflator, and a 2gal "quiet" air compressor. I keep a floor pump on hand for travel events, but all of my tire inflation needs in my garage are handled with the compressor. The cannister is now obsolete. The cordless inflator was an experiment that turned out to be noisier than I was willing to tolerate.
