The extra needs are due to perspiration, whether perceived or not. I drink two liters before 8 AM sometimes, especially if I’m about to set out on a bike. V V and I are on the same page with prehydration And never fewer than four for the day. I weigh 80 kg. We live in a house with no climate controls. Sometimes it’s hotter outside and sometimes it’s hotter inside. It’s always hot. And almost always humid.
