I’m not sure why people reflexively assume that they need their bars higher when switching to a swept touring bar lets them ride with the desired trunk angle and keep hands lower for better control and stability at all pedal efforts. Get the bars too high and the reaction force from the bars gets out of line with the pedal reaction force and pulls you forward off the saddle. It’s worth considering in this case, I think.
