The owner and I had the same question. I'm old, from when most braze ons went mostly in the same/correct/average spot. It seems to me that cost cutting or some other thinking prevents some very basic stuff. Like front low rider bosses that go all the way through the fork. Or cantilever frames without caliper holes in crown and on rear stays, both which have many other functions than just brake mounts. This is why we visit Gugie in Portland!
