^ That's true. Although I have to say some of the most tempting roads around here are too dangerous (teens driving 60+ through the canyons to get to the beach) there are plenty of alternate routs that are almost deserted because they wind themselves around too much, making them long and slow for people trying to get from A to B (which is just fine for someone averaging 15-20 mph and trying to make a decent distance without reaching civilzation).
