Fell off the bike (wagon) again. I've been wanting to modify my "Overkill Raleigh Twenty" with drop bars for a few months and one just popped up at the shop. As soon as I was made aware of it, I knew I was going to take it. It's pretty ragged, but 100% original currently, save for the saddle and it lacks mudguards. Original tyres and tubes that still hold air! Too bad, because it's getting fully stripped and turned into a road bike. Inspired by the writings of the OP and the spirit of the Huffente, I'm going to probably put every lightweight component I have access to, respecting a very low budget for this build, and it will merely be a mid-20ish pound bike. I have a set of Dura Ace 8 speed brifters which may go perfectly on this ride, otherwise it may become a Suntour Superbe bike (which I kind of shudder to think of). I'll create another thread about this R20 build happening over the next few months.
I guess this isn't being accountable at all, that said, I still have a few frames I need to get rid of, but aside from giving them away and paying for shipping, no one wants them.
