Was in Italy last year. Was going to be without a bike for about a week. Talked to a shop owner I know. He offered me what he called a cancello…an Atala with a mix of parts from various eras. Cancello literally translates to gate. Most gates are rigid metal structures that move, so the term seems pretty apt.
